There's really no other radon remediation team that will care about your home and family more than Green Earth. From the initial visit for the estimate to the final re-test after the system was installed, we were treated with respect and genuine care. When the first radon test came back high, it was pretty concerning. Greg and his team made sure we were comfortable with the plan and location for the system, as we have a new build, and the system was installed and up and running in no time. We definitely sleep easier knowing radon is no longer poisoning our family. Green Earth can not be beat!

Matt and his team were outstanding. We had a problem with the location the radon system was installed (the problem was rainwater water under the foundation) not Green Earths problem. They installed most of the system and we waited until the water went away. Never were they pushy to finish the job. They wanted it done right and so did we. Outstanding team and company to work with. Will be highly recommended by me to anyone who asks. Before remediation 5.8 pCi/L, after remediation 0.8 pCi/L. I know each house is different, but amazing results.

Joe came out to install my radon mitigation system and I have no complaints. During the install a storm came through and took out the power lines so Joe was stuck for a while at my house. Even after the power went out Joe finished up the job. After he sat with my dad and myself for probably five hours due to the down lines and talked with us, played us his harmonica, and ate dinner in the driveway with us. He was a great guy and would highly recommend Green Earth, specifically Joe to anyone needing a radon mitigation system. I would also recommend Green Earth because they actually can out to my house (quick response) to talk through where to route the pipe and answered all my questions. While they were slightly more expensive than the other company that quoted me, I felt a lot safer going with Green Earth because they saw my house prior to installation day and guarantee levels below 2.

If you are looking for a professional and reliable team for radon mitigation, I highly recommend **Green Earth**. Friends recently had a system installed and were very pleased. We saw Green Earth's booth at the Grand Rapids Home & Garden show back in February and signed up for a Radon test. The Monday after the show they called and we scheduled a test for later that week. One of their staff came out and set everything up. Test takes a couple of days. When it was done he came back and showed us the "not good" results. It was 3 times the passable level. With that information we went ahead and scheduled the installation of a Radon remediation system at what I thought was a very fair price. Their installer showed up on the scheduled day and within a few hours we had the new system up and running. Very professional install. A short time later they brought the test equipment out and after the prescribed time came back and showed us the "new" test results which were well below the minimum acceptable levels. Very pleased. No high pressure sales. Staff were polite and easy to work with. Answered all our questions. I give them a five-star rating and would at minimum recommend you have them come and test your home for Radon.

Green Earth cam and did a Radon Mitigation for our house after it tested very high. The price was extremely reasonable, and they got us on the schedule right away. William came out and installed it and did a wonderful job, they were quick and cleaned up after themselves. The best part is they leave a radon testing kit to make sure that the mitigation system is working to their standards. It is so comforting to know they are proving that the system is working and I feel so much better moving my kids into the house knowing we aren't exposing them to high levels anymore. 100% would recommend them to anyone, the follow up and guarantee are the best I found!

Green Earth Radon remediation was professional, quick, and surprisingly less expensive than anticipated. Initial visit was quick and easy, and estimated install cost provided immediately. This was confirmed in writing within a day, so we scheduled - and installation began same week. Install crew were respectul of our site, left the area clean, and the installation looks professional. Best news - Radon dropped from consistently in 5-7 pCi/L range to consistently below 0.2 within a couple hours. My personal monitoring has confirmed it's stayed there for a month now. Quick, Professional, zero fooling around. Very satisfied.

Soil or air testing can reveal the presence of potential contaminants that can be mitigated with a vapor barrier in a building’s foundation. This type of testing should take place prior to new construction or renovation in designated brownfield sites where pollutants are likely to be present.
Vapor intrusion is the result of chemical spills, leaks, or dumping that was not properly cleaned up. In areas with a history of industrial production, it is common to find higher levels of contaminants in the soil and groundwater. As these chemicals evaporate, they can become vapors that are released into the air. When vapors infiltrate buildings, these odorless, invisible gasses build up in concentration and present a health hazard for the buildings’ occupants.
Exposure to various volatile organic compounds (VOCs) through vapor intrusion may increase a person’s cancer risk and cause more immediate health concerns with symptoms like nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, slowed reflexes, and headaches.
Green Earth Remediation will customize vapor mitigation solutions based on the unique needs of your property. Typically, the process will include the installation of a vapor barrier within a building’s foundation. This will prevent the intrusion of harmful, airborne compounds associated with various health risks.
Vapor intrusion control is a specialized service that requires extensive training and knowledge to provide effectively. Green Earth Remediation has assisted in the redevelopment of numerous brownfield sites with reliable solutions for vapor intrusion.
Soil testing involves taking a sample of potentially contaminated soil and sending it to a lab for assessment. The process of taking a soil sample generally takes 1-2 hours. For existing structures, a sub slab soil gas sample may need to be taken. This involves drilling small holes into a basement or slab floor to collect soil samples underneath. A lab report will be provided within a few weeks of the soil sample collection.
Air testing is typically performed over a period of 24 hours with a passive testing device that is collected in a specially designed canister and taken to a lab for testing. A lab report will take 3-5 weeks following the collection of an air sample.
